perhaps i should clothe my child more often?

We had some friends over for a mommy/baby play date the other day. It was fun watching the kids play together while my sweet friend and I caught up.

It wasn't until after our friends were gone and I was looking through the few photos that I snapped, when I realized that I hadn't even put Levi in clothes that day.

As usual, there he was in just his diaper with his rolly-polly tummy perched on top.

Yes, near-nudey baby was on a date with a well-dressed older woman.

{is she trying to hand him a sock here? i wouldn't be surprised.}

On another note, why is my child the same size as a girl five months his senior?

Dear friends, aren't you grateful for friends that you don't have to try and impress?

relaxed, secure, and grateful,

Well, if it makes you feel any better...Silas rarely gets out of his pjs these days, and when it was summer he was mostly in only a diaper as well! I think it is adorable when babies are all dressed up, or not dressed at all...they're just adorable! Aren't playdates without cares the best?!

That is hilarious. It is waaaay to freaking cold here to not clothe my kid, but back in the summer, he was frequently seen sporting a diaper and a smile.

I wish I could do that!! I began wondering this morning if I somehow mistakenly THOUGHT I live in Croatia while actually living in Siberia. We are living in a frozen wasteland at present. I am soooo envious of you right now - I'd love to just let him go in a diaper and onesie, or just a diaper. But I know that in a few short months it will be so hot here I'll be longing for cooler weather...so I'd better just stop and smell the roses (yea, what roses....nothing can live in these below zero temperatures. lol!!!!)

HAHAH! I love that he was barely nude and you didn't notice! Hilarious! And my, my! He is as big as that beautiful babe! He must just be tall and healthy!

Haha...we don't live in a tropical climate, and I still tend to 'neglect' my children most days (we call them "pj days"); I always let my kiddos run around in a diaper when the weather permits, though. Nothin' cuter if you ask me!

Oops...that's supposed to say 'neglect' to clothe my children. Oh my--I really don't EVER neglect them! {can you say "mommy brain"?}

I think it's fab to have him in his nappy all day! Who needs clothes, eh? (Well me, but only to save the people the eyeful!) My 2 would happily run around naked all day! Unfortunately this Scottish weather does not allow for it!

I'm so jealous that you can leave him in just his diaper all day! Can't wait for the summer- babies look best in their birthday suits ;)

Omg, I love this. I really feel like a pudgy buddha belly on a baby is an adorable outfit in itself. Levi's rolls are too sweet! I'm sure his buddy was impressed.
Friends you can just "let it all hang out" with are the best! Back home I had some, but here I have just one really great friend. I love that I don't have to tidy the playroom before she and her son come over. I don't have to put on makeup or pretend I'm not exhausted by my active little lady. I feel so lucky she's in my life!
