what are your favorite baby shower games?

Help! I'm throwing a baby shower for a friend next week and I need some good ideas. What are your favorite things to do (games, activities, etc.) at baby showers? All ideas are welcome... {grin}

Dear friends, don't you love celebrating mamas and their new, adorable babies?! Tell me about the best baby shower you ever went to...

excited,

Ok, here's my fave Adriel-

You get the dad-to-be and videotape him answering 10 questions about parenting (we asked about everything from name the Disney princesses, to first aid questions and questions about the actual birth). Oh, and don't tell the mom-to-be this is happening. Then, at the shower, tell her you are doing a trivia game and ask her the same questions. After each question watch the Dad's response. If mom and dad match they earn presents. It is so FUNNY to watch the dad's struggle! I've done it twice and everybody always loves it.

Oh my gosh, we played a really fun game at my shower. It's called Tinkle In The Pot.

It's #19 on this page! Check it out.

I usually hate baby shower games - but we did one fun one where we had all the guests bring a baby picture of themselves to put up on a board for the party. Everyone has to guess who's who. The person who gets the most right gets a prize.

I love the ones where you match the name of a candy with a certain aspect of pregnancy/ labbor... For example, you write down "epidural" and people have to come up with the most appropriate corresponding candy (this one would be "life savers"); hospital bills-- 100 grand; breast feeding-- milky way. You can come up with your own or google some good ones. It's so fun!

At the shower my sisters-in-law threw for me they had a few funny games.
They put little polly pocket sized dolls into an ice cube tray and froze them inside ice cubs. Then each player gets their ice cube baby in a cup with a straw. You have to blow on it only with the straw to "birth" your baby out of the ice. I walked around and watched as my friends and family turned blue trying to birth their babies. :)

I recently threw a shower where my husband and I printed out pictures (8x10, close-ups) of the mommy and daddy-to-be for each guest. The guests were then invited to cut out the different parts of the parents and create what they thought the baby would look like. I had created one the night before and it took me 5 minutes. The guests spent forever on them...and they were pretty funny! Everyone got a kick out of them!

I've also done a pin the sperm on the egg game, which is fun too!

I like the "guess-the-poop" game. We played it at my shower. We just bought different kinds of chocolates, melted them down, put them in different newborn sized diapers, and had everyone guess the kind of chocolate inside. It was fun, messy, and entertaining.

I'm not a big shower games person, so I like simple ones like baby-related word scrambles or match the celebrity mom/dad to the baby name.
