mommyhood memo #6: you know life has changed when...

...you head out the door (as baby stays home with daddy) with your wallet, phone, lip gloss, and keys in a small clutch and feel as if your left arm is missing. (Buh-bye diaper bag!)

Very true! I remember traveling on our first trip away from the boys and of course I didn't have my diaper bag...I needed a wipe for something cleaning off a dirty table at the airport and I didn't have one!!! :-)

I had my first girls night out the other night since our second daughter was born. Our first is seven, so we left the diaper bag behind many moons ago. It felt so weird to go out without the diaper bag and carry my purse, lol.

That's SO true! Yesterday when I left without the baby I thought something didn't feel right. I searched my purse to make sure I had my wallet and everything. It just felt so much lighter not to have a diaper bag too! :)
