We use Skype and sometime Face Time on the iPhone! THis picture is really cute by the way!
ReplyDeleteWe use Skype. I love it. We can talk to Grandma and Grandpa online for free and we get to see each other, too. :) Thank God for technology!
ReplyDeleteAll our direct family is close enough to see in person - her furthest uncle and aunt are just a three hour drive and her other Grandma is in a small town just near us - so they see each other at least once a month.
ReplyDeleteI do have family in South Africa - and Aunt and cousins. They haven't seen her yet except through pictures and that's okay.
I have a friend with grandparents far away though and they swear by Skype. She jokes her baby is going to be very tech savvy by this time next year. He also plays on an Ipad.
Also, wanted to let you know I gave you a blog award. You can check it out here: http://mommycrat.blogspot.com/2010/08/and-again-with-bloggy-love.html.
Skype is a favorite! We use it to keep up with my brother and sister-in-law in Hawaii, to check up on my in-laws in China as they finish up their adoption, and to keep in touch with my parents while we're going to school in Corvallis. Pretty soon, we're going to use it to see "O Ju-Ju" aka-Uncle Jordon, as he goes to AIT over in Virginia!
ReplyDeleteTechnology is wonderful and makes the miles seem so small :)
Precious photo and PERFECT timing for the smiles and waves on the screen!
ReplyDeleteSKYPE!!! Oh, and facebook works REAL well in regards to PICTURE UPLOADS!
That is so cute!
ReplyDeleteWe use Skype to talk to grandma. I also occasionally use Readeo because we won a subscription to it. It's pretty neat to be able to read books with grandma over the internet. I was blog hopping today via Feed Squares and just wanted to say hi. If you would like to leave your link on my blog, feel free to add it to my blog hop linky this week. Hope to see you over there!

E-mail, the phone, and blogs. But I've wanted to try Skype for my parents...they would love to LOOK at the kids, as they only see them once a year.
ReplyDeleteWe Skype with the grandparents in Sweden and Denmark, as well as with some of my family in the UK. :-) It's really great for keeping the family updated with fast-growing kids...
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo! We live on the East Coast, and my family is all in CA, so we're on Skype all the time. We also send photos all the time, and my family goes on the blog almost every day to check out Georgia's latest antics.
ReplyDeleteI have a blog award waiting for you at my blog! Stop by and pick it up!

That photo is TOO cute! I guess we're low-tech, but we still depend on the phone to keep in touch most of the time. And email. ;0)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your encouragement with She Speaks! It went very well, thank you, God! I'll post about it later this week.
And no, I didn't get a new header. Same ol' one. You must be sleep deprived! Wonder why??! ;0)
That picture is too cute! Here, we love skype too! It is our easiest and cheapest way of staying in touch! My kids say that my friend from India "lives in the computer", LOL!
